“But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
KEY MESSAGE
You are known, you are called, and you belong to God.
REFLECTION
There will be seasons when you question yourself, your worth, your direction, your purpose, or whether God truly sees what you are going through.
Then God says: “I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
Think about how personal that is.
God does not simply know humanity, He knows you. He knows the parts you celebrate and the parts you are still working on. He knows your fears, your prayers, your struggles, and the purpose He placed within you.
Your identity cannot be determined by rejection, failure, relationships, titles, accomplishments, or the opinions of others.
Before any of those things existed, God formed you.
So when fear tries to tell you who you are today, remember who has already claimed you.
You don’t have to prove your worth to a world when you already belong to God.
TODAY'S QUESTION
Why fear?
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for knowing me personally and calling me by name. When fear, insecurity, or the opinions of others make me question my worth, remind me that my identity is found in You. Help me walk confidently today—not because I have everything figured out, but because I know who I belong to. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen.
