When God Feels Silent, He Is Still Working
HABAKKUK 2:3 — KJV

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and shall not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will come, it will surely surely come, it will not tarry.”
KEY MESSAGE
Delay is not denial. The appointed time is still coming.
REFLECTION
Habakkuk was a prophet who argued with God, openly, about the silence and injustice he saw. God's answer wasn't an explanation. It was a promise about timing.
Silence from heaven can feel like absence. But Scripture repeatedly shows that God's quiet seasons are not empty ones — they are appointed, not accidental.
You may be in a tarrying season right now. This verse doesn't ask you to pretend it doesn't hurt. It asks you to wait for an appointed time that will not lie.
TODAY'S QUESTION
What feels delayed in your life that you need to trust is simply appointed, not denied?
PRAYER
Father, Your silence is hard to sit in. Help me trust that what tarries is still appointed, and that You have never once lied to me about Your timing. Amen.
Amen.
